Susan Metrican was born in Miami, Oklahoma, in 1977. She received her BFA from The Kansas City Art Institute in 1999 and is currently an MFA candidate at MassArt in Boston.
In 2010 she had a solo show ”Life in Pompeii” at Yashar Gallery, Brooklyn, NY; and also ”Beachcombing” in 2006 at Fahrenheit Gallery, Kansas City, Missouri.
Her work has been featured in the shows ”Creative Block” at Webster Hall, New York, NY; ”Appetizing Pictures” at Hudson Guild Gallery, Hudson, NY; ”ARTview”Washington, DC; ”Work on Paper” Flux Factory, New York, NY; ”Karawec” Muang Thani, Thailand; and many more.
