AyadSinawi has exhibited in Canada and the United States since 1985. His work have been shown in many different venues, including The Power Plant and Gallery 788 in Toronto, the New Gallery in Calgary, the McMaster Museum of Art in Hamilton, the Mendel Art Gallery in Saskatoon, the Tom Thompson Memorial Gallery in northern Ontario, the Plug-in Gallery in Winnipeg, the Kelowna Art Gallery in British Columbia, and White Columns in New York.
He holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts degree from York University in Toronto, Canada, and a Masters of Fine Arts degree from the CUNY Hunter College in New York City. He is the recipient of several artist’s and travel grants, both in the U.S. and Canada. He was also selected to represent British Columbia in the First Annual Association of Canadian Colleges National Exhibition, and was selected as one of the artists representing British Columbia at Expo 86 in Vancouver.
