John Beer is the author of The Waste Land and Other Poems (Canarium Books, 2010), winner of the Norma Farber First Book Award from the Poetry Society of America, and a chapbook, Lucinda (Spork Press, 2013). A full-length verse novella of the same name will be published by Canarium Books in 2015. He is also the editor of a selection of Robert Lax's poems, which will be published by Wave Books in November 2013. He lives in Portland, Oregon.
Jane Lewty is a poet and critic, currently a visiting professor at the University of Amsterdam. She has co-edited two collections of essays, Broadcasting Modernism (University of Florida Press, 2009) and Pornotopias: Image, Apocalypse, Desire (Litteraria Pragensia, 2008). Her poetry has appeared widely, in journals such as jubilat, Word for/Word and Versal. Her book Bravura Cool was selected by Fanny Howe as winner of 2011’s 1913 Prize for First Books.
Zachary Schomburg is the author of The Book of Joshua, now available at Black Ocean, and three other previous books of poems. He co-edits Octopus Books and co-curates the Bad Blood Reading Series from where he lives in Portland, OR.
Joshua Marie Wilkinson (b. 1977, Seattle) is the author of SELENOGRAPHY (with Polaroids by Tim Rutili) (2010), SWAMP ISTHMUS (2013), THE COURIER’S ARCHIVE & HYMNAL (2014), and MEADOW SLASHER (2015), all from Sidebrow Books and Black Ocean. With Solan Jensen, he directed a film about Califone, and he’s also edited five books of essays, poetry, conversation, and poetics. He lives in Tucson, where he edits The Volta, runs a small press called Letter Machine Editions, and teaches at the University of Arizona.
